Remember to Seed on a P2P network

Here are my sharing ratios on a popular bittorrent tracker and on uTorrent for the last month or so:

Goodwill, and the will to share, and reciprocate is what the entire p2p network runs on.
p2p file transfers are responsible for atlease 80% of the traffic on the internet.(That's a weak estimate).

Also sharing files on a peer2peer network is completely voluntary, there is usually no personal gain in seeding files, still so many(believe me, there is huge number(including you)), who always do it.

This gives a wonderful insight on the human mind. Left free, without too many regualtions, on their own consceince, humans generally tend to do more good than bad.
(Of course there always are the odd exceptions, but that is just probability).

Hence we can conclude that men, usually are of a helpful nature, and left on their own, they will tend to help their needy among them.

Another good examples of this theory are :

Wikipedia - The most comprehensive encyclopedia on the web, runs totally on user-written articles. This means that me, and you can write new articles, even edit the old one if we have something more to say. Of course, there is a panel of admins and mods who regulate the changes, so it'd be of no effect to just delete an article, or spam it.

As always, we do have the odd spammer, but it is quite possible to weed them out, and more good than bad is done.

So before I get completely lost, all I wanted to convey here, is that on a P2P network, seeding is as important as leeching. Seed all the files to atleast a ratio of 1. Seed small files which you use often to a ratio of 3-5.

Help and keep the scene alive. =)

All the best and Happy Sharing.
